I'm ashamed to admit that I read through some of your articles.  I wish I had never even come in contact with your website, and I pray that not many others will.  I sincerely hope that anyone unsure of Christianity will not read your articles and let themselves be turned away from God. The true God of Christianity is not the God of Landover.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please be assured that Landover does NOT represent the majority of serious and sincere Christians, Baptist or otherwise.  Please accept my apologies on behalf of all Christians.  We are sorry the Christian religion has been defiled by this propoganda and, if this church is real, please understand that it has NOTHING to do with God, Baptists, or Christianity. I hope and pray that Landover is not a real church, that this site is just a hoax.  If it is real, then I have no doubt that it is not sanctioned by God, Jesus, or any true believer.  Please believe that our God is not the God conveyed by this website.

I am shocked and overwhelmed that this sort of thing even exists and, although I am proud of technology and the opportunities it affords us, this is one instance that makes me doubt the wisdom of such wide-reaching media as the internet.  I can only hope that Christians will make equal use of this technology to oppose this sort of thing.

God loves you, Jesus came to die for you, and all you have to do is believe this, confess your sins to the Lord, and trust in God, and you will be saved for all eternity.  Whichever Christian religion you choose (Baptist or not), this is the truth.  All it takes is a prayer.  Please do not let this site keep you from believing in a loving, merciful God.

To whomever is responsible for this site:  I will do my best to see that as many Christians as possible find out about your site.  I do not think that reading your articles is a good idea, but they need to know what is out there, turning others from Christianity.  We will pray for you and we will pray that no one is discouraged by your website.

I am a 12 year old who reads the Harry Potter books and I find it revolting that you dont think that children can tell the difference between reality and fantasy!  We read these books beacuse they are good books.  They are wonderful books similar to Roald Dahl, ect. and they are consitered classics already.  Just to add, these books do not worship Satan, and on page 12 of the Sorcer's Stone Prof. McGonalgall says "In the name of heaven, how did Harry survive!" and there is NO evidence that Harry killed his parents with a pocket knife.  I would like a LOGICAL explanation of that article at your website, or else I will contact Scholastic and tell them that because my parents have connections!

I was just reading your article, "Practicing Greek in Rome:The Link Between Catholisism and Homosexuality".  I would just like to say that I'm not of the Catholic Religion, but I am interested in the history which has seemed to be brought up in this article.  I would like to find out about some of the accusations that you made within the article.  I was wondering if you had any hard evidence which I myself might be able to research.  I have doubts about some of the things you said within the article and would like to be able to believe what was said.  Please respond with either someone who could answer my questions, or answer them yourself. It truly amazes me that you can call yourselves saved! Its no wonder the "unsaved" laugh at Christians and think we are a bunch of hypocrites.     Having come across your web-site concerning Ricky Martin(Satan), I have become more aware of why some people are scared of becoming Christians.  Being saved myself, I know the awesome power of the Lord, and all that he can do to one's life.  But calling Ricky Matrin the Devil is a little extreme.  Not only is your web page against him and sin in itself, but also the heading at the top of the page.    " The Largest, Most Powerful Assembly Of Worthwhile People To Ever Exist.  Unsaved Are Not Welcome!"  Now that was the first thing I saw when I got to your page, and in seeing that I had a feeling of what I was dealing with.  To me that shows excessive pride, and it is totally cutting off sending God's word around the globe.  Why would someone not already introduced to the Word of God want to come anywhere near your people and your church, let alone the Word of God, which, I might add, is the ultimate goal of Christians all over the world.  So basically the heading of your page has defeated your mission before even begining to start it.

    One thing more,  in the end it doesn't matter what your web page said, or what I wrote in return.  All that matters is what we have done to serve our Lord and to spread His word.  Also in the end, God has the judgement on wether Ricky Martin is the Devil, or the Pope is the Devil, or wether you and I are partners in crime.  I pray for you and your congregation, because thats
all that I can do.

I don't know if you think all off this stuff is funny, but I must first warn you that these articles could miss lead someone from Christianity. You are not attacking Christians but Christ himself. In doing so you will have to stand judgment in front of him one day. So please read your Bible closely and remember that Christians do the wrong thing on occasions but no one is perfect and the only perfect person was Christ and they hung him on a cross. Through his grace we all will be saved but you must first believe. Men cannot make to Heaven on there own actions and there are people that are not Christians that treat people well but they are not worthy of Heaven either because we are all sinners and you can only do it with his help.

First off I have to say that I was at first unsure if this site was a joke making fun of chrsitians, or if you were serious. I decided that you were serious, and I decided that either way I wanted to write something about what I experienced when I found myself on your site.
It's funny to me that you make a mockery of  your own religion. I have been researching the Landover Baptist web site for a few days with my college room mate. We have been discussing a lot of issues that have seriously been bothering us. The King James Bible. The King James Bible, translation-wise, is not a 'perfect' Bible. Nor will any english Bible be. King James is also rumoured to be, as you call them, a sissy. Yes folks! he could have been-God forbid-a 'HOMOSEXURAL'!!!!!!! Why you, of all people, would read a Bible by a HOMOSEXURAL I don't know. Also, Jesus was a JEW. He followed all Jewish traditions. He lived in the middle east region so he was probably dark complected and had dark eyes as well. In addition to that he was a Levite. Levites grew facial hair as soon as it was able to grow (according to jewish tradition a boy was a man when he could grow facial hair) and also grew the hair on thier head as well. So Jesus probably had long hair...below his ears!!!!!! and here's a question: how can you blame jews for killing Jesus if it was meant to happen anyway????? You should be inviting the unsaved into your church. (Matthew 9:12-13)On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Members of this church can be easily 'brainwashed' and told exactly what to think because everyone is set aside from the rest of the functioning world. And what's with the racism?????!!!!! In one of these post subjects someone from this "church" implied that Mexicans-probably all hispanics-are not even people, but purely demons and will "rot in hell". I'm not even going to touch that. What I will touch, though, is a picture on this web site. It is of a lighting of the cross ceremony... strangely enough it looks like a KKK rally. Living in Louisiana for 7 years of my childhood and going to high school in arkansas... well. let's just say i know what those are. they're stupid. But I digress. The caption for the picture said something about them wearing thier ceremonial white clothes. in the background to the left of the burning cross-if you look closely-there is a red circle on the left breast of one of the men (he is facing the cross). geeeee... doesn't that remind anyone of something called the KKK???!!!!! it looks just like the aryan nation symbol... they're just unmistakable KKK members and probably Nazis as well. Scary stuff.

Lastly-I have to quit eventually otherwise i would type all day and end up going on a killing spree or asking Bill Clinton to bomb this place with phosphorous bombs or greek fire-I would like to bring up the lies of this "church". I will not say they are right or wrong, but I will say that some of the reviews for movies, tampons (satan's cotton fingers hahahahaha), etc., are blatant lies. This "church" will do anything to get followers. They sound like the ICC (International Church of Christ). They probably have never seen the movies they reviewed. All in all I am disgusted by how perverse these people are.

I was sent the link to the story on tampons by our church librarian. It was bookmarked in one of the computers that is used by the youth department. She and I are completely appalled at what we have seen and do not find your site appropriate for viewing by anyone, much less teenagers. You claim to be a God loving church and that you are spreading the word of Jesus. Jesus would never condone the things that are printed within this site.

The author of that article in your newsletter is a very disturbed individual. It is not the responsibility of a church of God or that woman to be determining what is and is not appropriate personal hygiene products. It is a shame that you even printed that garbage. Satan is not likely to enter a woman's soul through the use of a particular feminine product. But I belive he has complete and total control of Mrs. Taffy Gaines.  That is perhaps the most offensive thing I have ever seen. The pictures that she has attached is nothing less than pornography.  How can you allow your church members to read such evil? What if a child were to come across this site and see that?

I would like to contact that woman and ask her a few questions myself. Would she have her own children view such things? If she does then she should have her children removed from her home. It is wrong. The entire site is filled with lies and things that go against the Lord. There is not one thing about this site or that woman that speaks of the love of Jesus Christ.

Seeing as you are a baptist church I will be forwarding a copy of that article to the offices of the Southern Baptist Convention. I wonder what they will think when they see what you are promoting. It is not love I can assure you that.  This site goes against all that is of Jesus Christ and his teachings.

I hope that in the future that you will put a lot of thought into monitoring what you are allowing on your site.

I am just amazed at the hypocracy of this website.You are totally psychotic if you think the Green Mile is about satan and homosexuals. If you actually pay attention to the story, you will understand that an innocent black man (which God created) was devasted by the death of a young white girl (which God created) in the woods.  He was holding her in his arms and hoping that the grace of God would help him heal her.

I come from a very strict penticostal background and find your opening page quite upsetting. You claim to be christians yet in your title it says "Unsaved are not welcome". WHAT IS THAT!!!!    There's no way to say it politely- your article on Harry Potter was nothing but lies. I came across it while surfing the Internet for Harry Potter fan sites. Your article shows a very narrow-minded view that overlooks all facts that do not support your ridiculous "brainwashing" theory. I am Baptist myself, and I find it a disgusting insult to know that some fanatics who claim to share my faith publish this kind of material on their website.
   I am a 14 year old girl in eighth grade. I am an all A's student. Many of my fellow students who I have never seen read a single book for fun have enjoyed the Harry Potter series immensely. These "evil" books have helped them discover the joys of reading, and it's a sad day when any institution that claims to be working on God's behalf discourages that. Even my teachers love the books!
   Harry Potter does not teach children to "run away from their problems and escape the world by creating destructive and dangerous fantasies" in the least. Instead, Harry teaches us the value of standing up for what is right and good. He teaches anyone who is willing to listen that you don't have to be physically strong to be emotionally strong. And, perhaps most of all, Harry Potter teaches all that, while not always fair, life is good.
  Finally, Book Four will NOT feature "the story of how Harry killed his parents with a butcher knife." Harry was a baby when his parents died, and he LOVED them. Besides, who in their right mind would want to go live with the Dursleys? And, you have neglected to mention in your article that the students at Hogwarts, including Harry and all his friends, are Christians and celebrate Christmas.

First and foremost, keep in mind I am not trying to destroy your beliefs or anything to that nature. But I don't understand how you can be so severely criticizing an innocent pop singer who might not be the most talented person alive, but certainly is not trying to instill the devil's ways into 10 year old girls, yet at the same time promote a gun show on your page, especially considering the advertisement depicts a young boy holding a gun. Have we learned nothing from the Columbine shootings? And those were not caused by "the devil's" doings, but by the cruelty and insensitivity of the human race. It might also be caused by the promotion of guns by the media, i.e., advertisements such as the one on your page, which inadvertently promote violence. And before you go accusing me of being associated with the Devil, keep in mind it will mean absolutely nothing to me, for my beliefs include neither the Devil or a Higher Power. The person who would consider a tampon phalic is the evil one!  They may not be the best choice for use during a woman's natural monthly period due to TSS but they do provide the adequate protection she needs.  Women do not put these in and walk around feeling like they have a penis inside them! Now I have no idea what the thing with the plunger is, and the imitation breasts are a little weird, but if you were to do some research about Japan and it's culture you will find that they will try to market just about anything.  However, I fail to see how pictures of eye drop glasses (used by optometrists throughout the US and the
