I stumbled onto your web site and was shocked at first.  As I scrolled down, however, I began to smile, then chuckle, then laugh out loud.  The bit about shooting trespassers on sight, for example!  It was then that I fully realized what this site is: an inspired spoof on exactly the hateful self-righteousness that certain "churches" try to pass off as real Christianity.  Now that I've found you, I'll come back regularly to see what else you have to offer.  Priceless!!!

I should echo, though, the concern that one emailer voiced.  There are a lot of people out there who are seriously searching for spiritual help.  They may find your site and either (a) be so messed up themselves that they'll start thinking this is how they ought to think and act to be Christian--and then do it, or (b) take it as a genuine representation of real Christianity and be so turned off by it, that they may never look into Christianity any further, when Christian faith may be exactly what they need.  In either case, actual mental and spiritual harm may be done to folks who don't understand that their legs are being pulled.  You might seriously consider putting a disclaimer right up front, to make sure no one mistakes you for the real thing, since the risk to other is actual.  I know, I know, that'll take all the fun out of it; but if a practical joke is carried too far, damage can very well result.  Please give my suggestion some thoughtful and serious consideration.

The movie in this weeks film review, the one with the so called bull dyke is a true story. It's not something someone thought up on the street... We don't see you here putting down either of the 3 Amy Fisher movies or any other true stories that turned into movies... and though this film may not have made mainstream theaters, it holds up more space on the new release walls at movie theaters than most movies out. It's apparent that the world is not as closed minded demented assholes as yourselves. They'd much rather see this film than any hypocritical religion toting bullshit of a movie out there.

Where on EARTH do you assholes get off deciding who lives and dies.... You give the ending to this movie an A?!?! For someone who loves god so much, it's apparent you don't stand for love and human kindness.... the basis of what god stands for.

It's a hell of alot more natural for two guys or two girls to sleep together than for father and daughter to sleep together, yet half of your congregation indulges in such acts.

When I heard that a church in Texas was bombed my heart sunk, when I heard it was a baptist church I jumped for joy. It's a shame none of you will get to witness what you're fighting for you whole lives, since every single one of you will fry in hell..

I am a Baptist woman, originally from Alabama and now living in Florida with my family.  I just wanted to tell you how much I admire your community and how much I wish I could be a part of something like that.  Miami is a very different place from the good gentle Southern Alabama of my youth, when times were easy and for lack of a better word, holy.  I believe that this city is as unholy as they come and it is often difficult to be a good, God-fearing Christian in a society of mostly evil people, but my Faith is my first priority always.

I could only hope for your sakes that God would find this funny, cute, or whatever it is you are trying to be.

What do you think?  Maybe there is a passage where blasphemy is considered humorous to God, but I don't know where it is.  Maybe you do.  If you cannot find one either, then you could always make one up -- seems that you have that move down very well.

I can't believe you people. Your sick. You really need to look at what yo are doing. How can you judge these babies? You need help. I am a Christian and I think this is over the line. You have no idea if these children are demonic possessed.    Do you believe in GOD? If so you need to rethink what you are doing!!!!! Do you realize that you are not god and he is the only one to judge. Babies are pure. You are the ones who need to be sterilized.

I am a Baptist woman, originally from Alabama and now living in Florida with my family.  I just wanted to tell you how much I admire your community and how much I wish I could be a part of something like that.  Miami is a very different place from the good gentle Southern Alabama of my youth, when times were easy and for lack of a better word, holy.  I believe that this city is as unholy as they come and it is often difficult to be a good, God-fearing Christian in a society of mostly evil people, but my Faith is my first priority always.

Treasure your community.  You may receive threats and hate mail from the unholy, but as Jesus said, forgive them for they know not what they do.  These are people who clearly do not know any better and I believe they are simply jealous of those who live in your fine community.

My heart is with Christ and your people at Landover.
