You People are really sick...Nsync had NOTHING to do with the suicide death of the little girl. Why did her mother allow guns around her daughter and why did she wait 3 hours later before going into her toom?? Have you ever listened to the other songs they sing like..."God Must Have Spent Alittle More Time On You", or "This I Promise You". Don't criticize this wonderful group of men, they have beautiful voices and songs, which I can see you have not listened to the rest of them. You are very judgemental. Sounds to me like the mother just wants money from them, just like she said, she wants a nice home in Orlando. She will never win the
lawsuit!! This woman is mentally ill and so was her poor little girl, God Bless Her. When I go to Mass on Sunday I will pray for her soul in heaven.

Dear "Reverend",

You need to learn about "satire" and "humor". Slamming a pop group, whether as a "joke" or because you really don't like them is not funny. It's downright disrepectful to not just the group, but their fans as well. To add into the "joke" a fake suicide makes it all the more revolting.

Please try to learn about real humor and satire. Go visit a few humor and/or fans sites about these pop acts. You'll see that there is no blind obession.

And, you really really need to learn a little more about the person you are speaking to before you condescend. What do you know about me? You have no
right to speak to me the way you did in your letter. I am not the typical 13-year-old *N Sync fanatic. Rather, I am a 20-year-old college student, majoring in special education and vocal performance.

I am amazed that a member of the church would be so disrepectful and rude to anyone.

The only thing that I walked away with is the assumption that I need a suit and tie. Well, I had a debate recently with a friend of mine, it went something like this; "Do you think that St. Peter will let me drive my Mercedes ls500 through the gates of heaven. I replied that I didn't think so. This sounds as silly as your assumption that Christians must dress a certain way. Why do you spread lies against my faith? Did Jesus have a suit. I'm writing on behalf an article i read on your churches web page. I being a christian don't understand blaming the killing of that young girl on the outstand,and might i add chart-topping, pop group,NSYNC. I'm the15 year old daughter and sister of a pastor and I talked to my parents about it and they came up with the same theory i did, The Lyrics to that song is stating that a guy(not no certain guy) was wanting to get to know a girl and she left her chance so she isn't getting any more. The mother of that child should have sit down and told her that Justin Timberlake is a regular guy that needs respect and has a life of his own and he deserves one just like everyone else. What really tipped me off was that the young girl put a bullet through Britney Spears poster, i mean a poster! Her parents should have all t! he guns put up in the first place and the bullets in another! And they tottaly ignored the fact that she got the gun once and shot it. They should have done away with all the guns right then! I see no reason why they should even think about blaming the great guys of NSYNC for the death of that young girl. I do believe if you are a true christian you do not judge people! that is not our choice! I see no reason why you would ever say they are on some kind of drug or even related to it. If they are That is their choice and they will be punished in their afterlife. It is not our choice to tell them they are "in sin" and doing"Acid Rock" its not right and I'm telling you its not christian like! The only reason I'm writting this is because my family believe one person can make a difference and i would like a responce on this letter. I'm not writting it for nothing! and as far as the little girl thinking that Justin and she was seeing e! ach other is tottally understandable! I mean she a a young lady. All young ladys would like that. If he was to send someone his "I love yous" and letters it is to show his appreciation to his loyal fans. At the concert he loudly shouts "i love you" to everyone again just to respect his loyal fans. I have attached the words to the WHOLE song so maybe it could make more sence to the meaning of the song and its not to tell that little girl to go off and Kill her self. for what it is worth i send my prayers and wished to their family but i'm leaving you on this note: maybe if someone would come out with a song about putting your guns somewhere kids could not reach, Do you think they would make a better effort of putting it up? I recently reviewed the "NSYNC Killed My Baby!" article, and I found it rather disturbing. Not because a girl shot herself over the song "Bye Bye Bye", but for the simple fact that I don't understand how anyone can take a so ng that seriously. The song does NOT talk about killing yourself, or killing anyone else for that matter. It talks about a couple breaking up. He's tired of her controlling his life and he's telling her that he doesn't want to be with her anymore. He wants to be free. It's only a song, and I'm sorry, but anyone who shoots themself because of a song...and from being OVERLY OBSESSED with a member of the group...should have had a big reality check from the parents. Another thing, she was only 13 years old, Justin Timberlake is 19..he'll be 20 in January...and I for one, don't think he'd be stupid enough to risk his career or freedom by dating someone that young. Ever heard of statutory rape? HELLO!! Justin is too smart for anything like that, and so are the rest of the *NSYNC members. I, and I'm sure the rest of the *NSYNC loving world, don't appreciate this story. It may be true, but if the girls'
mother had been paying attention to her daughter, and done something sooner, her daughter would still be alive. So really it should be the mother's fault for not paying attention to her daughter. *NSYNC are wonderful entertainers, and they don't deserve to have a suicide dropped on their heads like this when it wasn't their fault. It's not their fault, and if the girl killed herself because she took one of their songs a little...excuse me...WAY too seriously...then that was her own problem.

I was sent to your Sister Taffy site and your Landover Site by a co-worker who thought I might find it amusing. Amused I was not. I found both of your sites to be offensive and evil. You claim to be believers of Christ and members of the Baptist faith. I am a protestant and I assure anyone who reads this that real christians do not worship the way that your Sister Taffy does. She is a cruel woman with hate and bigotry in her heart. Your entire church represents exactly what is driving people away from religion and towards a life filled with a spititual void. Your site contaminates the good name of Baptists everywhere and I hope that you are shut down.

There is nothing amusing about ridiculing persons with disabilities. For the record I am a member of LPA and find your references to little people as vulgar and archaic. I would love to talk face to face with your Sister Taffy and find out what has caused her to be so vindictive and cruel. She embodies all of the traits of someone who is emotionally disturbed and in need of help herself. Who is she to judge and cast stones when the bible clearly states that Judge unless you are judged. I doubt she would be mentally able to withstand the scrutiny of a thorough investigation of her practices. So maybe you should warn her that one day she will be held accountable for every hurtful word that she has said.

i was sent the story about penny hestridge. i do feel awful that she committed suicide but i feel that *nsync was not the cause. here are some reasons:
*if the guys from *nsync were acid rock fans, i believe that the disney channel would not support them *lance wouldnt have appeared on 7th Heaven, which is a highly rated FAMILY show if he was an acid rock fan *the boys wouldnt have appeared on Touched By An Angel which referres to GOD in EVERY episode
*Justin, JC and Lance wear WWJD bracelets *when they are presented an award, they thank God *i highly doubt that acid rock fans wouldn't have released a CHRISTMAS album

are you aware of how many little girls write to *nsync hoping to get a reply?!?! i know a lot, including myself, that have written many, many times and have never gotten a responce, understandably because theyre busy people! thats why they have a fan club to take care of fan mail. about the photo justin supposedly sent penny...when you join the fan club, you receive a glossy picture of the boys, and at autograph signings and any contests that give away *nsync's autographs, they sign "love justin" or "love lance" or "love chris" etc...

about the lyrics of bye, bye, bye....its a song about a break up! nsync did not write it...a songwriter did! im sure penny could have found lyrics to any other song & made it fit in her situation. what were her parents doing letting her have access to a gun?! her mother did mention "my husband keeps a lot of guns around the house and it bothered me that penny had used one of them without asking. i mean the wall behind the poster was runied." she noted that she was 'bothered' by the fact that

This evening we visited your web site although, looking back on it after the fact, it was a waste of time and internet space for that matter. We realize that it was just humor but it was uncalled for and unneccesary. The members of *NSYNC deal with rumors and lies written about them on a daily basis but the story that is on your site is far beyond any of that. Not only is it offensive to fans of *NSYNC but it it also, I'm sure offensive to families who really have found their children in a similar position.
    No one appreciates comments and jokes written at someone else's expense. The story was sickening and very scary in the fact that you find joy in making up a story about a girl killing herself. It was disturbing at best. It is one thing to make fun of the media and the church for the obvious overreaction and misplaced blame to the music industry. It is another thing entirely to play off a situation that is so near to actual events and call it a joke. That is neither funny nor conciderate of the people who were involved in such tragedies.
    This whole thing obviously is a joke to you, but since you do find humor in this...let me ask YOU something.....where are your multi-platinum albums....where are your millions....where are all the fans screaming over you??? Yeah that is what I thought.
    Where is your concious for that matter? This article is upsetting and disrespectful to us and we don't have a child who committed suicide. I can only imagine what it would do to a mother who has gone though the experience of losing a child to know that you find it funny. Not only that, but where are your heads? About that girl Penny.... im not sure if this goes to you or not but i have something to say about that whole situtaion..... yes, i feel horrible about her death dont get me wrong BUT what is her mother talking about? 1st of all they are called NSYNC not In-Sin, they DO NOT sing songs telling little girls to kill themself!!!!! If the mother thinks that Justin stops every show just for her daughter, then she is just completely crazy. I have been to multiple Nsync concerts and they have never singled someone out and said "i love you" to them.I dont understand why the mother thinks that her daughter is going out with Justin. And obviously this child is very troubled if she has a Britney Spears picture on her wall with bullet holes in it and "whore" written on her stomach!!!!! i think it is obsurd that the mother is even concidering placing a lawsuit of any kinda on Nsync because they did nothing! What is Landover's satire directed against? It is fruitless. What is your purpose? Sure the church has many things that need change, but the efforts that I see on your website fail to produce change, to persuade or dissuade. Turn your energies to attack the enemy and serve God with your apparent gifted imaginations. I am a soldier in the U.S. Army for the past 11 years-serving my country, however, I will always try to be, first of all, an effective soldier for the Lord in His Army. What are you all serving? What good are your efforts? The statements nailed to the Whittenburg door were effective and productive and came from a radical who wanted to serve God. I think that what Landover is producing is a product of your "heart" and ineffective. I find it sad.

I am writing you to express my opinions about the article "NSYNC Killed My Baby" on your website. First off I'd like to say it's very unfortunate that Penny Hestridge took her own life and if she felt it she had to do it because of *NSYNC. I am an *NSYNC fan myself, I'm not some 14 year old who thinks they are going to marry me or date me, I'm an 18 year old college student who respects them for their music. I think you people have this all wrong and I don't think you should be blaming the guys of *NSYNC for Penny's death. I have been to many of their concerts and even met them before and they are all extraordinary guys, very down to earth and friendly. As for the picture of Justin Penny got in the mail, many stars do that...send an autograph picture of themselves to a fan that has taken the time to write them. Also, it's not that he's a shy guy (that's why it took so long for her to get a response) it's because the have thousands of mail and lots of times they don't even read the mail someone who works for them does that. So I doubt he even got her letters. I know I don't know Penny or anyone related to her, but I do
not believe in any shape or form was she dating Justin or anything of that nature. It's most likely something she's made up in her head. My gosh, by her picture she looks maybe 15. Why would 19 year old Justin be with a 15 year old girl? I'm sorry but this whole story just boggles my mind. I personally think this story is a load of manure and Penny needed to seek professional help before this tragic accident happened. I'd also like to add some information about the guys of *NSYNC. #1-they are not an acid rock group, they are a pop vocal group. #2-all of the guys are Christians and they do attend church whenever possible. I got this article from an *NSYNC mailing list and I thought I'd let you know *NSYNC isn't a heavy metal band. *NSYNC is pop music and Justin didn't write "Bye Bye Bye". The only song that he wrote that is on an album is "I'll Be Good For You" which is a song about giving his love to another person. Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are not dating! They have been friends for about 6 years now. And *NSYNC is a group that cares for children they do charities and theres alot of stories told by *NSYNC fans who wanted to commit suicide but *NSYNC's music helped them. I read the article and wasn't sure exactly what to think, until I read the fine print at the bottom which stated that the article was a parody. I was confused by it, since I was still under the illusion that this was the website of an actual church. But after reading through many guestbook entries, I realized what this site actually is. To me, it just seems like a colossal waste of time. All you are trying to do is make people angry, so you can find humor in their frustrations. It seems like you have put an awful lot of work into trying to lead people away from Christ, and it has prompted me to ask why. That is one of the main reasons I'm writing this email, is to ask you that. But aside from that, I think you know that the happiness you're getting from the creation of this site isn't real. I pray that this will get old to you- sooner, rather than later. For your sake,
and for all the people who now have false portrayals of the christian faith. To whom it may concern,
I stumbled upon this web site through a friend, who is a single parent with two young children. A daughter 6, and a son 5. She was a bit concerned that along with many boyish activities her son also often played with his sister and her "girl toys". She, as I was appauled at what we read on your website! How can you people claim to be "christians", and who appointed you to be the "judge and jury" in this society?

The last thing this poor child needs is to be ridiculed and abused! The Bible may not condone homosexuality, which I do not either, but I also know that God loves all of his children, and no one on this earth has the power to judge or persecute, only God has that power!

By behaving in this manner and abusing your children you are being the sinners you appear to be hating! The Bible also says hate is wrong! The only objective you people will attain by treating children this way, is teaching these children hurt, pain, and hatred!

In the long run you people are raising your children to be angry, murderers, rapists, among many other unfathomable possibilities! You should be ashamed of yourselves and what you are promoting in the name of God, the Bible, and Christianity! You give the church, religion,humanity,and true God fearing people a bad name! I hope you show this to all the followers you have around you, and may God have pity on your disgusting souls! I can only pray for the poor children you

I read what you believe and frankly am quite astounded! I was looking up information on the internet about Jews who have converted to Christianity in order to share this information with a Jewish friend of mine who is asking questions.

Imagine for a moment if Jesus had expressed or implied 'Unsaved not welcome'. How many of you would actually be propagating these obviously errant teachings had you not at some point heard the good news of Jesus Christ? How many of you would even think you could be saved? If the unsaved can't come to church to hear the gospel, other than street evangelism, how can they hear? And if they don't hear, how can they believe? What if someone wants to bring a friend to church who isn't saved but they can't unless they get saved? Well then the church would be pretty empty and what you have amounts to nothing more than an exclusive club
rather than the inclusive community the early church was and, in some places, is today. I'm not liberal by any means. In fact I consider myself to be a conservative, sola scriptura Christian, saved by faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone. I have no doubt that many of you are sincere and love Jesus Christ. What I've read here frightens me though! You are no more sanctified by your clothes, your food, or your works, than you are saved by them. Please tell me you don't actually fine people who are late to church. Are those who are without sin casting the first stone here? If this is supposed to be some brand of church discipline I think you've missed it entirely though it works well for the humongous facility you keep and the pockets of all those paid staff members. How many of your lay people are
involved in ministry? Do the pastor equip the saints for service or are they paid to teach them false doctrines and useless rituals? All of this begs the question; which Jesus do you claim to believe in? Show me one place in scripture that condones what your doing, just one. These are just a few questions any thinking Christian would ask. I eagerly await your response!
